I bought this fan to help circulate the heat in my apartment. It is a very nice, efficient little fan, mostly silent. I do find the switch a little awkward to use but it wouldn't deter me from buying it.

I was hoping to use the fan on my desk in an office, but the low setting is pretty noisy, and the airflow on low is more than you need. If you don't mind noise and want a high airflow, it's a good deal.
