Customer Review: The day night dial does not work

I bought two of these and both of them have the same problem. Set up is easy and linking it to the 330A chime worked well. I have the day/night switch set for day. However this sensor won't stop sending the signal even when it gets dark. I followed the instructions to the last word. I have tried placing the dusk control in different positions including turning it all the way clockwise towards the 'sun' symbol. At this position I tested it in a totally dark room walking at about 10-12 from the sensor and it triggers the chime. So I tested it with the daynight switch set for night time operation. It will trigger the chime no matter what the light intensity is or where the dusk control is set at. Am I doing something wrong. I am a fairly techie person and followed the instructions very well. I read the manual over and over to make sure I did not miss anything. I want to know if anyone out there has a tip to make it work, otherwise I have to return it to amazon. One other disappointing thing is that the tune for the motion sensor trigger cannot be changed to one of the stored tunes--it is set to a fixed warble tune like the other reviewer said.
