We had problems with our built-in communication system that included a door bell we often could not hear. We purchased the Honeywell RCWL330A1000/N P4, installed the batteries and turned the volume control to maximum. I installed the new push button over the old one on the outside, placed the Door Chime on a ledge of the staircase inside, hidden between plants (distance between button and chime about 15 feet). After 10 minutes, the ding-dong was echoing loudly to all corners of the house and has done so ever since. Great product!

I just moved into a new home and it had a door bell that didn't work reliably. This unit works fine. The instructions are clear but they are slightly out of date with respect to what's actually in the box. The icon stickers are now mounted on the unit (you don't have to stick them on). There were no problems in mounting the door bell button (but note that the "+" sign on the bracket should actually be mounted toward the bottom of the bracket). The sounds are fine but can become distorted if you turn the volume up too high. But even at a moderate setting, it is very easy to hear the chime from quite some distance away. Now the only question is how long the batteries will last: time will tell.Customer Review: Glad I got this.

I'm not a "do it yourself" kind of guy and I rarely hammer a nail straight but after being without a doorbell for some time I figured I needed to do something. This item was great as it was easy to get working and install. Even for me! Its versatile and I especially like the flashing light option that goes off when the bell is activated. I'm not hard of hearing but if I'm outside on the patio and see it through the glass door, I know someone is there. Lots of options, you can calibrate it for use with your car key opener (if you like the idea) and have multiple buttons to work at different entrance points if you like. Good price and..again, versatile. Good purchase.Customer Review: Love It!

I've been suffering with people knocking on the door or being forced to go from the back where the garage is all the way around to the front to knock (I live in a city row home). I didn't get a wireless door bell at the local home improvement stores because the selection was poor as was the quality. Took a chance based on this door bell the reviews and I couldn't be more happy. I have one push button about 20 feet away and the other outside the garage about 55 feet away. Both work great and the selection of tones and features is great. I would definitely recommend this door bell to anyone looking for a wireless bell.Customer Review: A really great find.

Compared to other wireless door chimes I have seen, I was immediately impressed with the design of this Honeywell product. I have no qualms of where I put it, because of the handsome look. It is portable, but this is not necessary because even on low, the chime is quite loud. It certainly can be heard out on my balcony, which is one of the main reasons for buying it. It has a nice selection of various chimes, and flashes for a few seconds after it rings, which is very helpful if I happen to be wearing earphones.
