This product works just fine for my application (single family home, heating only although it will work w/central air); it was a snap to install (under 30mins. including removing old thermostat) and very easy to program. The only downside I found was the display isn't back-lit as it appears to be in the illustration, bummer! All said, you can't beat this product unless you find it on sale a week after it arrives just as I did.Customer Review: A good simple thermostat

My wife and I are both retired so every day is a 'weekend day'. Most thermostats require multiple settings for different kinds of days. Good idea if you're a worker but bad idea if you're me since going on vacation etc requires MULTIPLE thermostat adjustments. Also, why pay extra for annoying unused features. This thermostat is simple, easy to install and has typical Honeywell accuracy and reliability. For me it's ideal.Customer Review: Temp is off but works great

Been using this for some time now.While the temp does seem to be a bit off it does work great.I hardly look at the temp much.If it's cold I just press the up button a couple times.If to cold I press the down one a couple or a few times.The 1st time you press it shows the setting the next time it raises or lowers it.Very easy to program as well.Don't even need to look at the manual A-Customer Review: Easy to install; Reads too high

Thermostat was easy enough to install, but the temperature reading on the stat reads 4-5 degrees warmer than the ambient temp. You have to set it at 76 deg. to obtain 72 deg room temperature. I called customer service (overseas technician - difficult to understand). He claimed temperature differential is normal. ????
Seems to operate OK despite temp difference.

Very affordable for a programmable thermostat and think it will definitely create a savings in my utility bills. Can set it for four different times of the day and never have to touch it unless you want it cooler or hotter for that particular time. Have been very pleased with the device so far.
