Installation was a breeze. It only took 10 minutes to remove old thermostat and install new one. Programming options were impressive. You can use the defaults option and be up and running in minutes or you can get deep into programming multiple days with different options. Outside temperature sensor option is also very nice. (requires optional sensor and wiring).

This is a product that every home should have. It is fully programmable and keeps temperatures right on the requested temp. It is EASY to make changes to meet your changing schedules and is loaded with features. The remote sensors are a little pricey but can be added if desired. This is priced well and is fully digital with no switches or moving parts.Customer Review: Great Product

This is a great product with wonderful features and is very easy to use and program, however, the installation documentation is designed for a professional to install - which is stated on the first page. This product was easy to install and does not require professional installation if you can read instructions. It has an amazing ability to customize your heating/cooling system and I loved the ability for it to automatically decide whether heating or cooling is needed. I was very disappointed to find out that the Honeywell Pro 8000 that I bought did not have the humidistat. In the picture it appears to have it. I didn't realize there was no humidistat until it was installed and then not able to be returned. I ordered the product I needed through another site. It was a costly error.
