I doubt that this is an original part as the Hoover symbol is not found anywhere on the product. And the filters come in a bag--not the plastic container the picture shows. Nonetheless, the filters seem to work well.Customer Review: Good value, good product

This replacement filter cost half as much as the original filter that Hoover wanted to sell me. It also is washable and the original one was not. This filter is a good value and a good product.
