Customer Review: Highway robbery for a simple product

After shipping, this pack of 3 is right around the cost of buying it locally.P>There's nothing here worth 4 stars. The vacuum cleaner perhaps, but not the bags. It's a simple paper bag like any other; it's not rocket science. It's worth about $0.50 to manufacture, and they could make a profit at ($$$)/bag. This type of pricing is nothing other than highway robbery since they have us latched already. My next vacuum might be one of those bagless models.If somebody wants to post something helpful, please let us know where if anywhere we can find these bags (inexpensive) from a third party.

I find these bags to be very good in getting the tiny dust particles. Yes, I do find the bags in general to be on the pricy side especially since I have had several rip. At any rate, I have not had a problem with putting the bags on or taking them off. I vaccuumed up something accidentally and needed to remove the bag to get it out. As I attempted to carefully remove the bag (one I had just changed), it ripped right off of the cardboard ring and I had to replace the entire bag. As for the big "Poof" when changing bags, I try to be careful and haven't really had a problem.Customer Review: Reasonable

Ok, the bag fills up fast, but then that's because the system does such a terrific job. One bag lasted two weeks, but then the cleaner itself gives an indication when the area is still dirty, so you tend to be more careful in vacuuming.Bag replacement is a bit clumsy but no more so than most machines. I had no trouble removing the bag and not spilling its contents. Yes, you have to fold the top and bottom over when you install it but that's because it unfolds when it fills up. Expense? Most vacuum cleaner bags are too expensive.Customer Review: Not Quite What I Expected

Although this is the official Hoover replacement bag it is not the same as the nice cloth one that came with the vacuum cleaner I bought. This one is paper and still leaks dust like all paper ones do even despite the 99.9% allergen filter rating. The cloth bag was much better than any paper bags and I am still trying to find cloth bags. This product is ok but not what I hoped I was ordering.Customer Review: Best Bags

I prefer a bag style vac but I don't care for the heavy paper ones. My carpet is new and has a ton of loose fluff. I can nearly fill a bag when I do the whole house. New carpet, live alone so very little dirt. With this one I can pull out the fluff and continue using the bag. Can't do that with the paper ones so more costly
