Customer Review: Beware!!! Dishonest Company

I order two of these clotheslines - one for myself and the other for my daughter. Installed the first without issue. Found the second one badly damaged after opening the box. Reported it to the company and was told a replacement would be shipped immediately "that afternoon" and I would receive a return label for the damaged unit. Called back the following day for the tracking number for my replacement unit; had not been shipped. A couple of days later while looking at the box of the damaged unit, I found shipping labels where the unit had previously been shipped to a customer and returned to the company because of the damage. I then called again for the new tracking number; and was again told it had not been shipped. I then told the service rep that Home and Beyond had knowingly shipping me a damaged unit. I questioned if there were any units in stock and was finally given an honest answer - no. I requested a refund and was told my account would immediately be credited, which it has not. I'm still holding on to the damaged unit until I receive my credit or a new unit.
As far as the clothesline itself, we have yet to use it enough to provide a full review. It does not appear to be as sturdy as a similar clothesline we had several years ago.

Save energy, money, and create extra clothes drying space with this retractable clothes dryer from WHITNEY DESIGN. This dryer allows for drying clothes the natural way which is energy efficient. It is designee for use either indoors or outdoors. The dryer provides for 5 vinyl coated lines each 34' in length when fully extended providing for 170' of drying space. When not being used as a dryer, the lines simply retract. The main case is made from aluminum. To keep lines tight, the unit has a tightening knob.
