Customer Review: Great little drying rack

Bought this for a small laundry room where I couldn't place a drying rack on the floor. It works great, no problems. I would highly recommend using heavy-duty drywall expanders or drilling deep into a stud, however, as the amount of leverage that gets placed on this thing is pretty immense. Twice it pulled right out of the wall, despite some pretty solid hardware that I used to mount it.
Installation is a bit of a pain, but they include a "template" that you can use to make it easier. Just make sure everything is good and level or you'll have some trouble sliding the final pieces into place. Make sure your screws have flat heads too, or else they'll prevent you from finishing your install.

With space saving in mind, this WHITNEY DESIGN(#5003) indoor clothing dryer is wall mountable and telescopes out from the wall to a distance of 14.5". When not in use, it can be retracted back to the wall. It measures 31.5" wide and is made of plastic. There are 8 adjustable drying lines that are made of plastic covered wire. It ships fully assembled. The color of the rack is white to match most any interior color.Great for delicates, towels, swimwear, and winter accessories, this collapsible rack from The Clothes Line provides ample drying room without taking up floor space. Once attached to the wall with the included hardware, the rack telescopes in and out, providing one or as many as seven hanging bars. Not intended for heavy items, the unit is more than handy for lightweight ones plus, the plastic-coated steel bars don?t snag clothes.
