Customer Review: Not sturdy. Not for long term everyday use.

Great idea collapsible storage. I liked the idea of storage that wasn't plastic because we already have so much plastic storage! At first I thought they were great but now I can't say I would recommend them except... (see bottom). Not long after start of use, probably not more than a couple of months, the sticks that provide support (edge framing) have torn through the fabric. The fabric is not sturdy- very thin- should be thicker, sturdier.
What we've used them for: the medium one is in a bedroom holding stuffed animals. Since it hasn't been moved much, it's in the best condition- no tears. The large one has soft animals and baby blankets in the living room, and the small one has small baby toys like rattles. These two are the ones that have lost their edge sticks. If you don't move these around they're okay but I've moved them around to play with the toys (not roughly- I've been careful with them) and they didn't hold up nearly as long as I hoped/expected.
After having them I feel they aren't worth more than $10. They've not held up. I could have bought 3 dreaded sterilite containers for the same price. If you are looking for something to hold blankets or towels in a guest room or bathroom, or maybe soft animals and you won't be moving the containers around then these may work for you.
