Customer Review: Great Solution for "Dry Flat" Clothes

I have a lot of silk turtlenecks and dressy shirts for work. When I do the delicate laundry, I have many items that must be dried flat. Before I got this stackable air dryer, I had to cover what seemed like all the flat surfaces in my basement with damp blouses & such.
Now I can stack them up & it takes much less room. This is a great product. For me, it was easy to assemble with no tools.
Other reviewers have mentioned that they have a hard time sliding the wet clothes in between the levels. This hasn't been a problem for me. I don't "snap" the layers together when I stack them; I just set them down gently. This makes it easy to unstack them to put away later. And it avoids the need to slide the wet clothes in between the levels.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I ordered this product to replace the similar product purchased a few years ago from Kmart.
Pros: It saves space and keeps sweaters in shape.
Con: It's difficult to stack and unstack them. My understanding is that you are supposed to stack them together with force and stay that way. Thank God I have my husband's woodworking tools handy. I altered the joints on each rack so that I can stack and unstack easily. It is so much easier to spread the sweater on the rack if you don't have other one or two racks on top of it.

These sweater dryers were the cheapest I found. I agree with a previous review that the interlocking system needs a bit of work. Really, though, all you have to do is press down sort of hard on the corners to get them to lock. The only downside to these is that once you put them together, it would be a pain to take them apart to store them. I think I will probably just put them in a closet non stacked when not in use. All in all, it is a better system than laying your sweaters all around the kitchen table, etc.Customer Review: works well

I like the way the air flows through these stackable sweater dryers. They are better than the round ones because the round ones go flat when I put a sweater on it. Unfortunately, I haven't found a quick and easy way to store the square stackable drying racks. It has pieces that need to be taken apart each time to store. The round one folded up flat and quick. I am still happy with it because I can dry more than one sweater at a time and it is much more efficient.Customer Review: Good for drying, not for stacking

These drying racks are quite good for laying out average sized sweaters, but stacking more than two of them is virtually impossible. The bottoms do not interlock well, which was disappointing because I live in an apartment with very limited free floor space. But they're easy to assemble and break down into something small enough to store in a closet. The company delivered accurately and on time.
