I'm light sleeper & noise-sensitive. Before I found these, I'd used a variety of other unhelpful, uncomfortable earplugs. These effectively block my partner's snoring, doors banging shut, neighbors' lawn mowers & barking dogs. Lately I've been using them to block the terrible Muzak a coworker insists be blaring through the office -- though some of us find it distracting. When I want to concentrate, these earplugs even block reggae! Great earplugs, comfortable to wear, easy to insert & remove. I used two varieties of earplug when motorcycling: both manufactured by Howard Leight. For smaller ears, or warmer days (for some reason they suit me better then) I use Max Lite. For larger ears or when it's cold, I use Laser Lite. Both have the same advantages: Easy to inset; comfortable for hours at a time; effective at cutting noise.
Buy a box like this and they'll last for ages. Stuff some into every pocket of your bike gear and you'll always have a pair when you need them, or a fellow rider forgets.

At first I wasn't sure whether to buy the Max1, Max Lite, or this Laser Lite model. I'm glad I got the Laser Lite. They are much more comfortable and softer than the foam earplugs I bought from the department store. The softness does not seem to take away from the noise reduction.. it expands nicely inside the ear and forms a tight seal. The packaging is a box with an access slot to the individually plastic wrapped pairs, which makes it easy to grab and take along on projects without getting them dirty.Customer Review: Best Earplug EVER!!

This is by far the softest earplug that I have ever used. Other earplugs hurt the inside of my ear canal and are very uncomfortable for long periods of time.
I have been told by management that I am very picky when it comes to ear protection! Well whom has to wear them for extended periods of time?
I was very happy to find them at a price I could afford. DO NOT settle for second best DEMAND the best!!

I've been living next to a House of Worship for the past 5 years and at about 5:30am it gets very very loud. I finally bought the 3M 1100's which were excellent and helped me sleep. But after a while I had earaches because they were more 'firm'. After looking at the 'Howard Leight LL1 Laser Lite Earplugs no Cords' I decided to give it a try. I found them to be more effective in noise blaoking and easy on my ears as they are softer. Would definitely recommend these for long term use.
