Tools and Hardware Reviews of Howard Leight LL1 Laser Lite Earplugs no Cords (200 ct)Customer Review: Will not stay in the ear canal and provide no protection at all. Summary: 1 Stars
I don't know why they won't work for me. They just won't stay in the ear canal no matter how I roll them, push them or hold them. I just bought 200 and will donate them I guess, because they won't work. I'm going back to the plugs I know work: AO Safety 310-1001 EAR Classic Earplug, Yellow, 200-Pairs These may work for you like the other reviewers. I hope so. If not, get the Classics.
Customer Review: really effective earplugs Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best of many brands I've tried. As one who is alarmed by faint noises as well as loud, I cherish the calming quiet that arrives as I place these plugs in my ears. Follow directions and roll thin. They're easy to set just right, and to remove. You can experiment to get a range of quieting effect. I get a full night's sleep, and quiet during the day when I want. These earplugs help better than noise-canceling earphones for air travel, and car and train travel.
Customer Review: One of the best brands I use Summary: 5 Stars
I have used my fair share of earplugs, including the industrial strength earplugs used by New York City subway car repairmen (it's good to have friends in NYC), and Howard's Laser Lites have proven true to their cause. I have used them in all types of settings, including loud concerts, trains, planes, and of course - against the snoring spouse. In every case they have been very dependable and well worth their cost, which is quite reasonable. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: GREAT earplugs. Summary: 5 Stars
These earplugs are excellent, so glad I found them. Unfortunately for me, I live in a condo w/ electric heat & the heat pump is right outside my bedroom window. (Brilliant design of some idiot) I am a light sleeper so the sound tends to keep me up in the winter. Thanks to these earplugs the noise is no longer a problem. I used to use the ones commonly sold in supermarkets etc. These earplugs are 100x better than those, and much cheaper too.
Customer Review: Very comfortable, but completely inadequate for shooting Summary: 3 Stars
These Howard Leight LL1 ear plugs are indeed very comfortable - made of very soft foam and a flat profile for easy insertion. However, they are completely inadequate for indoor shooting. I can't imagine that they are anywhere near a NRR of 32 as claimed. I put these in at the range, and the firing sounded like cannons booming in my head. I'd recommend them for sleeping, or outdoor yard activities, but not for firearm noise protection.
