This design is probably the most traditional in the Beacon Hill range from Hunter, with the antique brass finish, clear globes and dark colored blades. If this is your taste in decor then this fan should satisfy. As far as performance goes, the fan operation is flawless. It is quiet, well balanced and the three speeds are well spaced. This fan is particularly stable at high speed. It must be said however that the 42" blades mean that this fan is best suited to smaller rooms as the "reach" of the airflow is noticeably more confined than an equivalent 52" fan I have elsewhere in the house. Product quality is good with all parts fitting properly and the finish matching, even on the trim ring and center cap which are made from plastic. Installation was straightforward, especially as I have installed a number of Hunter fans and the components are pretty much standard across their range. The large mounting plate adds to the stability of the fan and being able to "hook" the fan to the plate while wiring the unit makes this truly a one-person installation. The only fiddly bit is attaching the lamp unit as the center cap is only just about large enough to accomodate all the wires. Overall, this is a solid, quality fan and represents good value for the price.

The Beacon Hill ceiling fan is another soft and contemporary styled fan with a whisperwind motor, perfect for any indoor room. This Ceiling Fan is from the The Beacon Hill Collection and is UL Indoor rated. The The Beacon Hill Includes 3" (3/4" Interior Diameter) Pole.With Hunter's Beacon Hill Ceiling Fan, you can circulate your air with quiet beauty. Designed to fit your style, function flawlessly, and last a lifetime, this ETL Indoor rated fan has a 42-inch five-blade design to help keep a small room or office comfortable all year round.
