My father-in-law and I installed this fan in about 3 hours although we took a few breaks. Over all the instructions were very detailed and we had no troubles with the installation. If you have other remote-controlled fans in your home make sure you change the jumper settings other wise you may be controlling more than one fan with the same remote. We have a similar fan in another room so I checked the jumper settings in that fan (just remove the remote batterry cover to see those settings)before we installed this fan. Excellent fan!! We just began to put my fan up this weekend. It is still not up. Whoever wrote the directions did not do a good job. They did not describe all the parts and at times it was like they skipped what you were supposed to do.
The fan itself looks nice. Hopefully we will have it up soon.
Amazon delivered it quickly.

Overall, the fan is quiet and does the job, but takes significantly more effort to install than the several Hampton Bay fans I've installed in the past. Also, the trim ring that fits around the top of the canopy does not quite match the rest of the fan in color.Customer Review: Excellent!!

This is a great fan for the price. I have other Hunter fans and they last forever. The fan is great for a medium size room, the options are perfect. The remote control is user friendly. This fan is simple, practical, and worth the investment.Customer Review: Uses candelabra bulbs

Purchased the fan from Amazon. Everything is fine. The fan is quiet. The only surprise is that Hunter changed the bulb from medium base incandescent to candelabra base. The CFL candelabra is fairly expensive. Otherwise its OK.
