I used to buy the pre filters from Hunter and thought it was a bit unusual to have to cut the filter media to fit my filter. After discovering this filter media from Bulkfilter, I placed my order. Shipping was fast. Looks like the exact same material. Yes, I had to cut it to fit which is easy using scissors. I get two filters from one piece of material. I am pleased with my purchase, and would order this again. I have a Hunter Permalife Model 30756.Customer Review: Only Large enough for one Filter

As a couple of others have already mentioned this replacement cut-to-order filter is only large enough to get one replacement filter out of rather than the two stated on the box. Purifier Model 30547 needs a 19.5 x 13.5 pre-filter to completely cover the Hepa filter. Anything smaller will allow dust directly into the Hepa filter shortening it's life considerably. Pre-filter 30901 is the designated part to replace the original for this model.Customer Review: Not like the original

I'm not sure that the "5-star reviewers" actually ordered this item. When compared to the original filter which came with the unit, it is MUCH thinner and flimsy. Also, there is NO way to get two filters out of this. It is too small. after cutting out one, there is less than 1/2 of the sized needed to make another. Do yourself a favor and order an original carbon pre-filter. I'm tossing this one and looking for the reall thing.Customer Review: Functional product

I like the Hunter series of HEPA air filters - there is a noticible decrease in the amount of dust in my home, and it allows me to stretch the length of time between vacumming. The pre-filter can vacuumed out, rather than replaced, which lengthens the lifespan. The nature of the filter material in the true HEPA media, however, doesn't lend itself to vacuuming, so be prepared to pay for replacements as indicated.Customer Review: Hunter 30901 Replacement Pre-Filter- Misleading marketing

The marketing material on the packaging, and the website, makes it appear that there are two (2) filters. Not true. I had to cut out my replacement filter from one oversized filter, leaving me only one (1) filter to use on my machine. False advertising. If you don't care about cutting out your filter, then this product is for you. If I could purchase another machine, I would.
