Tools and Hardware Reviews of Hunter 90050 Spa Select High Performance Bathroom Fan, WhiteCustomer Review: Specs are not Detailed Enough Summary: 2 Stars
I am not an expert in heating and ventilation and sure enough don't know much about bathroom fans. Never got around to testing the unit simply because it didn't fit our vent pipe in the bathroom. The shape of the pipe wasn't mentioned in the item description. This particular fan has round pipe and the one I have in my bath is square, of course. Doesn't take genius to realize that round and square don't go together for a proper fit...
Customer Review: Works just fine Summary: 5 Stars
It is not really loud, but you can hear the humming. I think it is in lower end of the sound spectrum, and it also sucks the moist and steam out well even tough it is installed about 10 feet away from the shower ceiling. . For the price, this is a great Bathroom Fan. Installation was easy as well. I suggest this item to replace any 15 year old loud as hell bathroom fan in that new house you just bought.
Customer Review: Boy, it does its job! Summary: 5 Stars
Not only is this fan priced reasonably, it's good quality for the money!
We installed it by ourselves and, besides some "structural" issues (which were not caused by the fan, but the house), it was easy to install!
The fan really keeps the bathroom steam-free during showers. It's quiet and looks good in the ceiling.
We highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: Grill Cover Size Summary: 3 Stars
The grill cover is 9 1/2 at the widest point, tapering to 9" at the corners. NOT 10" as stated on the manufacture site. The fan is a squirrel cage design, not the cheaper centrifical blade type. It is suppose to move 80 CFM, but I think that is an xaggeration, because I have a cheaper centrifical 50CFM in another room and it moves more air. The fan is fairly quite.
Customer Review: Good fan Summary: 5 Stars
Easier than we thought to install. It's smaller than our old fan so drywall repair was needed. We installed it without even having to go into the attic. We lucked out a little - as there was plenty of wire up to reach the new fan's wiring box.
It's pretty quiet and works well. Recommended - and the price is right.
