Customer Review: Works for people with cat allergies

We purchased this because we have 2 cats and one of our friends always has a terrible allergic reaction when he visits. Things were getting pretty bad as he could only handle about 30 minutes in our family room before having to leave - in misery.
After placing this in the room and running it on the medium setting (with the ionizer turned on)for a few days our friend visited, stayed for 3 hours and had no allergic reaction - at all.
The high setting is notably loud. The quiet setting really is quiet but still moves a lot of air.

The Air Purifier works very well. It is quiet enough to sleep at night. 9Big Plus) Whe I first started the Ioniizer it would snap every 15-30 seconds for about 24 hours. I was ready to return it, but it now only does it Occasionally.
My Unit was scratched during shipment, but I decided not to return it and have to wait for a new one. (Packing was not the best!)

To be effective, this unit must be on the highest speed. Do not plan to have a telephone conversation while standing next to this unit as it is very loud. Absolutely cannot be used while sleeping while in the highest speed. Sure it works, but if you are even the slightest sensitive to noise, this is not the unit for you.Customer Review: Great Air Purifier

We bought this for our daughter's bedroom after we found out that she is allergic to our cats. The three speed are great. We put it on the daytime setting during the day and it does make a good bit of noise on this setting. During the night we put it in night mode and it is very very quiet. No complaints! This unit seems to clean the air of whatever makes my husband snore and whatever stinks seem to creep in the room as we slumber. I am a light sleeper and I can easily sleep through the night setting. It appears it was a good buy for the price!
