Tools and Hardware Reviews of Hunter 90022 12-Inch Oscillating Table Fan, Satin Black with Brushed NickelCustomer Review: Work of Art Summary: 5 Stars
This Hunter fan is a work of art and the quality is superb. I have Hunter ceiling fans throughout my house and their motors are silent and stable. I didnt realize Hunter manufactured table top oscillating fans. The quality of this oscaillating fan is on par with all the high quality ceiling fans we own. I am very happy with this product and the price. This fan motor is nearly silent. The only sound you can expect to hear, even when running on high, is the sound of the fan blades slicing through the air. To me, this sound is to be expected. You can run this fan on low in your bedroom and not evern hear a thing. I have not heard any clicking associated with the oscillating mode that some reviewers have experienced.
Customer Review: Great Fan! Summary: 5 Stars
This fan is sturdy and powerful, yet very quiet. I usually buy cheap plastic fans, so this is a whole new world for me. This fan is definitely worth the investment... it is amazingly powerful (in terms of how much breeze it kicks out). I also love the style, especially the design of the control switch... it has a great feel to it and is easy to use. I am very impressed with this fan overall. The one thing that stands out has to be how quiet it is... not only that it is quiet, but that it is such an efficient fan that the sound is soothing, not an awkward, inconsistent low-pitched rickety-sound like that of lower quality fans. It really is pleasant.
Customer Review: Strong, stable, & silent Summary: 5 Stars
This fan functions well at all three speeds: ocean breeze, tropical storm, and hurricane. I've run this fan 24/7 for several months and continue to be extremely pleased with its durability. It sits on the edge of a shelf, very sturdy, stable, and nostalgically fashionable. While oscillating a full 180 degrees or shooting a straight stream of cooled air, it continues to run quietly. Like every other oscillating fan I've owned, this fan will click when it reaches the end of its oscillation cycle if the switch is not completely engaged: simple solution = finish pushing/pulling switch. :) I strongly recommend Hunter's 12-inch table-top fan.
Customer Review: Absolutely Fan-Tastic! Summary: 5 Stars
I like having a fan on when I sleep at night and after having 2 cheap plastic table fans break in the past year, it was time to get a quality one. This one fits the bill. It is absolutely rock solid, super sturdy and heavy. No assembly whatsoever, I imagine this is how they use to build fans in the 30's and 40's. A beautiful piece of art, wisper quiet and no clicking when it rotates. I know it will last a long time based on how tough it's built. 3 speed settings and all are strong. Would HIGHLY recommend this fan! It's definietly a quality piece made by a great manufacturer that knows how to build fans, worth the extra money!!
Customer Review: Best fan I've ever had! Summary: 5 Stars
Over the years I've used fans from a company that shall remain nameless that was partial to plastic. I decided it was time for something new ... metal!
Now I sit here at 1:45 in the morning (I do my best reviews at night) with my trusty Hunter oscillating quietly before me. Look at the picture and it should tell the story. There are three speeds but I've found that the lowest is equivalent to medium on the aforesaid plastic. It's nice to hear it whispering in the background while I read, sleep or write this review. It's also well priced and it gets sent quickly. I hope this tempts at least one restless person to try it.
