WE wanted a way to store our winter tires, up and off of the floor. We wanted this rack to be well made, sturdy and good looking. This is all of those. It was easy to install because the directions were clear, our studs were on center. It holds all four of our winter tires and wheels plus 2 smaller travel tires and wheels. Our garage is roomy and tidy. We higly recommend the well made, well designed tire rack. Enjoy.Customer Review: wish it would hold 2 more tires!

it does what it's supposed to do and was quite easy to install. per the manufacturer it's rated for 400# and for someone with European cars that's more than adequate even for the winter tyres on steel wheels. My only complaint is the width limitation which restricts storing more than 6 wheel/tyres (at least in my case). I keep a set of Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires mounted on wheels and swap them on and off each year. This is an outstanding solution to store a spare set of wheels. It was very easy to install. Once you find out where one stud is, the holes are intuitively spaced so you hit wood each time assuming standard wall construction. This is a very well made product. It's all solid metal. It can hold up to 8 normal size tires. The poles extend nicely if needed. I am only using it to hold 4 tires with rims right now. The product looks nice as well. You can tell it's one of those items you'll have for the next 20 years. Assemble was easy. This tire rack does just what I expected - it allows me to keep an extra set of tires out of my way in my garage. The quality is excellent - very strong, easy to assemble/mount, etc, so I expect it to last for a very long time.
I recently bought a set of winter tires for my wife's minivan, so I went out and bought another one of these.
