Customer Review: Nice storage unit. Installation tips.

Nice and sturdy units. Very pleased with them. To make installation easier, mount the horizontal bar (into studs if possible). Then attach the center standard (vertical bar). Then place one side standard on the unit, but do not screw it down yet. Then place two baskets (one at the top and one at the bottom) of the unit. Adjust your spacing so that the baskets will fit. Then screw down the side standard and repeat for the other side.
I bought 2 units and had to use the dremel tool to shorten the tabs off of 2 of the baskets to get them to fit into the standards. This was not a big deal, but enough to cause me to knock one star off of my review.

HyLoft's Bin-Max storage units are a quick and easy way to get sturdy, adaptable, off-the-floor storage. This unit has up to four self-supporting storage "zones," so you don't have to stack items on top of other items on the shelf (thus minimizing the risk of the avalanche effect typical of other wall-mount shelving units). Each shelf is adjustable, and the steel construction means that they are unlikely to bend-the unit as a whole can support up to 100 pounds.
