Per the title, I was annoyed this wasn't already bundled with my compact Evolution garbage disposal unit; but at least it's somewhat reasonably priced, and if you go through Amazon, you can get free super saver shipping. To reiterate, you basically need this item to install your Evolution line disposal.
Overall, I handed this and the disposal unit over to my contractor, and he had it set up in very short order. The disposal, this power cord package and an existing power switch outlet is all you need to get this up and running.

Expensive but very convenient when ordering and installing your garbage disposal unit. You can probably buy a similar product at your local hardware store for a lot less if you don't mind driving there and hopefully not forgetting something and having to go back to the store. Why isn't this included in the price of the Disposal Unit?Customer Review: Should have been included with the disposal.

You'd think that after what you pay for an InSinkErator disposal, the power cord would be included. Unfortunately for all of that, it isn't.
That said, this product does exactly what's it's supposed to do.

I purchased this kit with the InSinkErator SinkTop Switch #STS-00 to save me the time of having to make a cable. It is a complete kit with good quality cable that makes the install a snap. I would buy it again.Customer Review: just fine

Made the installation easy, all the parts are there. Taping the wire nuts is a good idea due to the vibration of the disposal unit. Just a little added insurance it will stay together.
