Tools and Hardware Reviews of Indus-Tool TT Toasty Toes Ergonomic Heated FootrestCustomer Review: My Feet Ar WARM In The Office! Summary: 4 Stars
My office is COLD! About 65 degrees standing at the thermostat, but I swear it is colder at my desk. This footrest does wonders for helping to work through the chill. Plug it in and turn on to the first setting. It takes several minutes to heat up to the full temperature. My feet are like icecubes and this footrest warms them right up. I only gave 4 stars because I wish there was an option for a lower setting. It actually gets REALLY warm to the point where it feels too hot for bare feet. Probably is awesome with socks =) If you leave your shoes on, it will also warm up the bottom of your shoes so they are cozy. Love it!
Customer Review: LOVE IT!! Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this a month now and absolutely love it. No more cold feet at work. Before this, I sometimes left my toasty but unfashionable boots on at work - always attractive. I have used it with and without shoes depending on how cold my shoes are. Why warm you're feet if you then put them in cold shoes to walk around the building. So far I have not had the problem that some are experiencing with the footrest getting too hot; either I have colder feet or the coldness of the floor somehow negates that somewhat. I have already recommended this to someone at work. Do your feet a favor and buy one.
Customer Review: Wonderful head pad Summary: 4 Stars
This heating pad is just what I was looking for. I use it on a cold wood floor. My only complaint is that the low setting is a bit woo warm. They should replace the high setting with the current low and add something like
a 30 watt low setting. The manual claims the high setting is for radiant heat. This is just silly, 90 watts is not going to produce enough radiant heat to do anything. I would also add some rubber feet so the unit doesn't slide on a bare floor. Note that I use the unit flat on the ground as the angled parts make the unit too high.
Customer Review: Not Toasty At All Summary: 2 Stars
Our company is buying us these in an effort to save money by getting us to take our space heaters home. I've had mine set up as a heating panel (positioned vertically) under my desk for three days and I even forgot it was there because I don't feel any heat. Now I just laid it flat on the floor in the high heat position, and I can feel a little heat coming through my shoes. That's okay if you can sit with your feet perfectly flat and don't move, but I can't sit like that for long.
I'm glad I didn't pay for this. I'm keeping my space heater.
Customer Review: Adaquate, but not excellent. Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this as a gift for a friend with a cold office. I have to agree that it is a bit overpriced for what it is, but it does work. It's certainly not enough to heat a whole room, but under a desk it's OK. It says not to rest your feet on it when it's on high, but when it's on high is the only way it actually puts out any noticeable heat. Low is just TOO low. As it is, resting your feet on it on high is enough to keep them warm without being hot or cold. If you're trying to combat more than a chill, this is not the product for you.
