Tools and Hardware Reviews of Emissive Energy Corp. X1MT-WT White LED FlashlightCustomer Review: Not as bright as I thought it'd be Summary: 4 Stars
I'm a big fan of LED lights.. they last forever, use less power, don't get hot, and are brighter.
This flashlight, as other reviewers have mentioned, is not that bright. It can easily light your way through the darkness, or during a power outage, or in a parking garage, etc. And I guess that's what it was designed to do, as it's so small and handy. But I was expecting more.
Perhaps it's just because the lighted area is so large, and not just concentrated in a little circle like the ones you see on CSI.
If you know what you're getting into, you won't be disappointed. But just make sure you don't plan on using this flashlight to blind people at 20 feet or something!
Customer Review: GREAT bedside light Summary: 5 Stars
This is getting a bity over-priced because the LED if the older generation and isn't as bright. On the other hand, this is THE flashlight for a run to the potty or to investigate a "bump" in the night. The other LED lights out are far brighter, but when your eyes are completely night-adjusted, they're painfully bright. This is not as bright and a bit more tolerable. The size is also very handy: about the length of 2 AA's (takes 1) and only a bit wider in diameter. it's an excellent travel light. As far as "mini" flashlights go, this may not be the brightest (in fact, it's near the bottom) but it's the best thing going for a nightstand/travel flashlight...
Customer Review: Bright, Solid flashlight with serious design flaw Summary: 2 Stars
This light is bright and solid.
It feels good in your hand.
This is a flashlight that had lots of promise, but failed in the end to a design flaw.
The light flickers as you walk or move the light around.
This is caused by the battery rattling around inside of the casing.
In fact, it even shuts itself off at times and you have to rattle it back on.
The light is way too expensive for what you get.
I would also look at the Streamlight Microstream and the Streamlight Pro flashlights.
The Streamlight is brighter and I have found it to be much more reliable, when I have needed it.
Customer Review: A nice little flashlight Summary: 4 Stars
Very lightweight flashlight, the light output is pretty good from a AA battery. I bought this for working at the shop, doing inspection. The flashlight doesn't come with the holster. Big disappointment. As one of the reviewer said it came with holster back in 2004. Mine didn't, so I need to find something to carry the flashlight with me.
After few months of using it, the battery contact is going bad (have to turn it in all the way or knock on it to get the light on) and I tried contact inova about warranty issue, so far it had been 2 months and no reply yet.
Customer Review: A waste of money! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought 2 in january 2008, and they (both) are already damage (april 2008)only 4 months!!!!.
I have one and gave one to my wife. Both have problem with the contacts, they dont always turn on, and when they do, its like something is loose inside and the light become intermitent.
Also the light is not so bright anymore!.
I lost my money!!!!!
