I started buying flashlights utilizing lithium batteries after throwing out several flashlights that were damaged by leaking alkaline batteries. This particular flashlight is my brightest LED flashlight. The switch operates easily. Unscrew the rear cap three turns to keep the light from turning on accidently.

That's why police and military professionals around the world rely on Inova flashlights to get the job done.The Inova T5 is nearly identical to the T4 in body construction, size and brightness but with single-use batteries. The T5 converts its 125-Lumen LED source (as per LED specifications) into a beam that is effective up to 300 feet--visibly illuminating objects at football-field distances. It delivers up to three hours of constant, uniform light output per battery set.
This advanced light comes in a sturdy, aircraft-grade aluminum body that's machined from solid bar stock (not extruded tubing), with a military-grade Type III anodized hard-coat and impact resistant head. It boasts a mid-body switch that's located for optimal control. Up to +90 percent of the light generated by the LED is delivered. It is the achievement of a joint two-year R&D effort with Optical Research Associates, the firm called upon by NASA and the US military to develop the world's most advanced optical systems.
The T5's lifetime LED bulbs are virtually indestructible, and the light's power regulation offers constant, uniform light output brightness over battery life. Three 123A lithium batteries are included.
