I've owned this very same shower head for over a year now. I bought it at a local home center store, but its the same brand and model as this one. My old shower head was something that long ago went out of style. I don't even think it was a low flow model. It finally just got so old that only a fraction of the water was flowing through it and it was time to get rid of it. I liked the look and price of this unit right off. It's very solidly built and an ease to just screw in and get showering with. Installation was a simple matter of getting the old shower head off, (the hardest part) and wrapping some telflon tape around the new head and screwing it in. The shower head itself turns and twists in any direction you would ever favor, and is a tremendous improvement over my old one to be sure. Its even rather attractive in a new age sort of way.
The only con I would mention with this model its tendency to leak some at the joints. Something that I am used to when it comes to all plumbing I have ever tackled. Electrical work in comparison is an exact science compared to plumbing. Do it wrong and whatever it is you're working on just flat out doesn't work or burns your house down. With plumbing your dealing with an entity that holds a lot more patience in its desire to aggravate you. Your plumbing job can appear to be bone dry and needing no further tightening or adjusting for hours, even days, and then start to leak just when you were starting to feel proud of yourself. This shower head was no exception. It appeared to be perfect after first installation, only to start dripping a little after a few showers. Its doesn't leak much, and there is really nothing you can do about it anyway, so I feel it is not any real negative. I can't really in all fairness compare this unit with any others of its kind, simply because this is the first I have ever owned. All I can tell you is this shower head is very solid, attractive, and made of a quality stainless steel that should keep it looking that way. The head on the unit is not that big, (3 1/2 "), but big enough for the price you pay, and flows really nice, giving you a really great shower. Most of all its price here on Amazon is a real bargain, considering that I paid more for the same unit locally. If you're in the market for such an item, I recommend this model highly...
