Customer Review: Everything I was hoping for

I had used a wide shower-type showerhead before at a previous home, and was somewhat disappointed when the new place I moved into had a cheap apartment-feel showerhead. After a quick browse through Amazon, I ordered this one, and I am not disappointed. Though the showerhead itself is sort of small (as other reviewers have stated), the spray from it is pretty wide, and doesn't come out in a crazy and painful jet (I dislike those "massaging" showerheads).
The product did not come with installation instructions, but it was easy enough to figure out. Including a false start when I hadn't put the rubber washer between the inlet pipe and the product (spraying me while I was clothed with water :D), I had it installed in about 10 minutes. Definitely easier than I was expecting. I did not notice any leaking from the joints as others have.
If they keep making this product, I'll keep buying and recommending it.

For the price, this is a good unit. Easy to install, works as advertised. In the packaging I received, the restrictor is separate from the shower unit. It does not come pre-installed, which is fantastic.
The reason this unit only gets four stars instead of five has to do how it connects up with the shower pipe. The base does not rotate around the pipe, which means depending on how the thread of the pipe and connector meet, you might end up with a shower head that sticks out in a strange direction, rather than up or down.
Additionally, if you attempt to avoid this by not tightening the fixture up completely, at some point the unit (during operation of the shower) will begin to spin about around the pipe uncontrollably, spewing water across the entire bathroom. This is especially funny if it happens not to you, but to one of your roommates.

You can be sure this product is fine and works great. I just replaced all three of our old showerheads with these Interbath All Directional Chrome Showerheads. They are solid brass not plastic. Looked at Lowe's and Home Depot and they did not have any decent extended arm showerheads for this low price on Amazon.
No teflon tape was needed and I left the water-saver washer in. Make sure you push the other rubber washer all the way in against the water-saver washer and gently tighten the main body onto the shower nipple. Once you have the extension arm and showerhead adjusted you will need to tighten the wing nuts carefully with a small flat crescent wrench to stop any small water drip. Other than that everything else was straight forward. The flow is good despite the water-saver washer still in. Supersaver Free Shipping because I bought three. Thanks Amazon!

BECAUSE IT IS MUCH, MUCH SMALLER THAN IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURE!
Bad, or almost False Advertisement. Come on Amazon and Interbath - be straight forward and honest about what you're selling. Almost all the other models by the same company and sold by Interbath mention the dimensions. On this model the provide closeup pictures, with no reference to a hand or other object that would allow the viewer to gauge it's actual size. Shameful!
I wish I could give the seller in this case the bad review, since it's their fault, accidentally or otherwise - that the purchaser doesn't have a clue what size the item is.
The product isn't the best, but it's not bad either - just much smaller than the picture makes it look. Buyer Beware! I'll stick to books and electronics with Amazon - no more cloths or other items, thank you.
Customer Review: don't purchase unless you have a really low shower head pipe

if you have an unusually low shower head pipe in your shower, this product will be a good, especially in if you are tall (over 6 foot)
if your shower head is at the normal highth (about 6 ft high or greater) go with the oval shaped shower head from waterpik... 34.95 at home depot, but home depot just discontinued it... i went through 4 rain shower heads before finding the best product... the waterpik oval is amazing plus you don't need to remove the thing that keeps the water usage at 2.5 gallons per minute and it still works brilliantly... great shower experience with the peace of mind of environmental responsibility and cost savings....
