I had one of these years ago when they were selling on QVC for about $30.00. Innovative technology. Note, this does not provide the type of water pressure that you'd use for a back or shoulder massage. It does provide a downpour of water that will drench you and rinse every ounce of shampoo and soap off your body. It's very relaxing. The amount of water it puts out is amazing. The only thing it lacks is a directed spray for spraying the nooks and crannies (yes, we all have them - haha). But there is a solution. In addition to this showerhead I purchased a "not too pricey" combo shower unit that has both a directed handheld and over the head shower. I kept the directed handheld portion but removed the over the head one and replaced it with the rainfall showerhead. Problem solved. I treat myself to two showers a day. After owning two of these (for both showers) for about two weeks, I can only give advice to those who will remove the flow restrictor before installing (I didn't even try it with them on) - You will love the shower, it really is wonderful - I installed without any teflon tape and there are no leaks. It adds a vertical foot or so to my shower, which was the primary reason I purchased this (They built our shower with a 5'6" person in mind). The only problem is that I have to be very careful not to let the water run for too long before I get in, because this showerhead puts out so much water, it will literally run my (admittedly small) water heater dry in about 15-20 minutes.
Otherwise, great product! Expect the shower head to be about the size of your palm, it comes in a very narrow box.

I just installed this, and also removed the water restricting piece. After reading the reviews, I expected truly amazing. What I got was quite good, especially for the price.
If you are looking for the rain effect, this does put out a lot of water in a large spray. However, if what you are looking for is invigorating pressure, then this is only okay. Compared to my old shower (turned to high), the pressure is slightly less, but the diameter is much more. Satisfied overall for the price.
UPDATE - I eventually stopped using this. This shower head is good you want a lot of water in a wide spray, but pretty average if what you want is strong pressure.

This is a very nice looking shower head that performs beautifully with one very small modification - removing the tiny rubber restricting washer. With the washer in place the shower head can really only be used pouring straight down which makes it difficult to clean everywhere effectively or wash while letting conditioner set. With the washer removed the head angle can be changed to fire forward. The double hinged arm does allow one to adjust the head to the perfect position for your height and preference. I wish it was available with a shorter arm for those who do not need such a extensive reach. A steal for the money. Will definitely buy more.Customer Review: Disappointed

No matter how many times and attempted to screw this shower head onto my existing shower stem, it would never line up in the proper position. This shower head system is missing an additional "joint" to allow for fine-tuning of the position of the shower head when it reaches the tightest point. Mine happened to reach the tightest point when the shower head was pointed sideways. Without the extra joint, there was no way for me to align it properly unless I loosened it a quarter turn, which would cause water to leak. I'm pretty sure I installed it properly, but not positive because there were absolutely no instructions included.
