Customer Review: Beware - ceramic magnets can be fussy

These were too weak to be dependable to hold pot holders so I placed them on top of far stronger flat circular rare earth magnets. Instantly the ceramic magnets lost their magnetism. They stay up only due to the strength of the other magnets. I'm using them, and they look great. I'll recommend them but you should be aware of possible surprises. If I hadn't had a small stack of very powerful rare earth magnets, I'd have returned these ceramics as under-powered for the job.Customer Review: Just What I Was Looking For!

I have ordered 2 sets of these magnet hooks. The magnet is very strong and will not slide. I use them on my refrigerator and stove to hold cup towels, pot holders, anything I need to hang up. I have took them to work and placed them on file cabinets to hang keys. I am ordering another set because my daughter-in-law took the ones I had back to California with her! These magnetic hooks are the greatest. The magnet is very strong, so the hook doesn't slide down when you put something on it. I have them on the fridge, the oven, and the dishwasher. I hang dish towels, oven mitts, and all kinds of stuff on them. Once you have them you won't be able to live without them.Customer Review: Still Not Strong Enough

I purchased these to hang two oven mitts on the side of my refrigerator. They hold for a while, but without fail I can see them slowly sinking after a few days. They would hold something a bit lighter, but not the mitts. FYI, I use one hook for each mitt.Customer Review: I Need More

I have to disagree with SunnyOne. I keep very large silicone oven mits on these hooks on the side of my stove--I've NEVER had them slip. My only issue right now is that I need one more and they're not available. Anyone know where I can get one?
