I tried finding one of these at at least 1/2 dozen different local home stores without success. This one is exactly what I wanted and at a fair price. It arrived in good condition (one little mark, which must have been from the manufacturing process) but its not noticeable and I'm very happy with the product. It fits my double size rolls just fine, keeps them clean, dry and handy. A+
Only negative was the cost of shipping and the fact that it was packed so thoroughly in paper and bubble wrap that the packing materials struck me as wasteful and not environmentally conscious.

This is such a well-designed item, especially for the modest price. It's understated, fits in a small space, is attractive, and even without lifting the lid you can see when the rolls need to be replenished. I have one in my children's bathroom now, and I'm planning on buying one for my son's college dorm room, because it is compact and will keep the rolls clean, even if the bathroom isn't cleaned very often! Its translucent white color coordinates with all decors, except perhaps ivory, and the small chrome knob on the top adds a dash of style.Customer Review: orb toilet paper holder canister

Orb Toilet Paper Holder Canister is perfect to store your toilet paper within your bathroom/powder. It has a great look, with a nice chrome handle for the top. It makes it comfortable for the user of the facility to see that you have additional toilet paper, just in case the user may run out. The canister is opague which gives it a stream-line clean look. It is very easy to wipe clean, too. It fits ideally right next to the toilet, without taking up a lot of room. Shipping was super fast and very affordable.Customer Review: tapered cylinder

After measuring the fairly large quadruple rolls we buy, and comparing to the stated diameter of this holder, I thought I was OK.
However, since the cylinder is tapered, only one roll will fit, and even then it's very difficult to get out. If you buy regular or double rolls, you'd probably be fine. Other than that, it's slightly translucent, so there's no mistaking what's inside it.

I wanted a simple, discreet way to store extra rolls of toilet paper in my bathrooms and this has worked well. I can see when it needs resupply so no one ever has to call for more toilet paper at an inconvenient moment. I did have someone tell me that they thought it was a toilet brush holder. I guess I can see that but it does what it is designed to do and didn't cost a fortune.
