I ordered my set of Intermatic flood lights May 28,2009. Back then, they only cost me $34.68, I see now they are $45.99. I have purchased many Intermatic landscape lighting products from the Home Depot, and they have been unreliable and flimsy. The ones from Home Depot are made of plastic and cannot even last through one season for me.
I read the reviews prior to purchasing these LED metal flood lights and they seemed good so I tried them out. They are made of very high quality metal, so they will definitely last. I did have a problem with having to adjust one of the reflective cones that focuses the light, but that was easy. All you have to do is unscrew the lens. I thought they would be dim because they are LED, but they are bright. I use them to illuminate a random step I have on my walkway, and they do the job adequately. They are so bright, I get partially blinded from looking directly at them all they way from the street as I am driving home.
I wanted LED lights because I felt guilty about leaving them on for 8 hours a day, but now I feel relieved because LED uses so little electricity. I don't know if I would have spent more than $40 for only two floodlights, but they are quality lights, so you wouldn't be disappointed.

These lights were installed at the entrance to our neighborhood to illuminate the signs. They are powered from a solar array and charge controller/lighting controller. We are very pleased with the amount of light, color of the light (warmer than many LEDs), and the very low power consumption.
They have a very wide angle of illumination and are very consistent in intensity across the field. The case does not get hot, looks great, and is of high quality. The amount of light is much more than most LED lights, but still less than many incandescent lights. It appears to be a bit less than a ten watt light. Still, given the power requirements, it is extremely satisfactory.
Only had one problem, the reflectors in both lights were not centered over the LED, causing a cutoff/shading problem. I unscrewed the lights, centered the reflectors, reassembled them, and now they are fine.
Highly recommended.

I ordered these lights from Amazon last week and installed them today replacing my old incandesent units. Installation was easy. Didn't have to do any rewiring and the units clip right into the lines. I am amazed at the clear, white beams they admit and the amount of light produced from only one watt of power. These units are floods and not spots and deliver solid coverage of about 6 feet width from a distance of 3 feet from the unit. The units have a sturdy feel and should last a long time. Sould have replaced my old lights years ago - but wait - years ago they didn't have these snappy little LEDs. In a few years I'm sure all lights in every home and business will be misely little LEDs, then the power company will have another excuse to raise our rates!Customer Review: Super Bright Well Made

This is a nice well made low voltage spot light that draws very little current so it is ideal for my solar power system. led's have come a long way and this is a good example. it has a very bright white beam that hits the tops of 20 foot palms with no problems. I think you could use them indoors as well as the give off no heat. I hope they last as long as they say . I will be switching all my outdoor lighting over to led's as time proves that they are reliable.Customer Review: Well-made but only works at ground level

These are impressively well-made - solid metal, not the usual plastic junk. But I had to return them because they only mount right at ground level. I wanted them to point downwards, but they don't have enough height from ground to point downwards -- they can only point up or to the side.
