Box arrived on time. Assembly was relatively easy and the installation quite easy. I especially like the way the connector is designed - it ensures contact with the cable unlike some past/other models where you have to press the cable onto the light post hoping for a clean contact.
What I did not like - the swivel mechansim on the spot lights is very weak and will break leaving the light to "hang" down rendering it usless unless you prop it up with a back support. This really takes away from what is certainly a good set.
Customer Review: Parts Missing AND Parts Broken

Haven't even plugged the lights in yet, but I started the assembly of each light (which isn't easy for someone with big fingers and little patience). Some assembly required is an understatement with this kit.
We're missing small parts for all of the spotlights and some of the wire ends are stripped off, so before I've even started wiring the lights outside, we've already lost 7 lights. Makes the full kit worth that much less.
I'll update my review after finishing the installation. So far its a 1 star product...

I ordered this 20 light set (14 regular lights & 6 Spot lights) to replace an older 10 regular light set. I installed the lights and found that the sockets for the spot lights were missing. Customer service was closed on the weekend so I went to the web site and ordered replacement parts. They E-Mailed a form with instrictions to send proof of purchase. I FAXED it to them and the missing parts were shipped the next day with an E-Mail UPS tracking link.
Much better service than I expected.

One certainly can't argue with the price for this package; it's an excellent value for the money. Unfortunately, 1 pagoda light and one spotlight arrived either broken or missing a part. Also, the capacity of the transformer/timer is at the maximum of the sum of the wattage of the bulbs and the wire that comes with it is adequate but not heavy duty. I purchased a separate 300W transformer/timer and had my installer purchase heavy duty wire. Having package pricing with upgrades would be a nice feature.Customer Review: A great Malibu light kit

This is a great little kit for those of you who want to light up your front yard. The directions are good and it does not take long to install. I have two cautions. You will want to protect your timer from the elements. In addition, make sure that you press the connectors in to the wire securely. To protect the black housing from the elements, a little Armor All can be applied to shine them up after the initial sheen disappears. The price of this kit is well worth it.
