This was the only "tabletop" kind of timer I could find. It's great because you can easily change the timer on it without crawling down behind your couch or whatever. It's super easy to use, really straightforward, and has a big display. I really like it way more than my other ones that have a million functions I never use. So far so good (I've had it about a year).Customer Review: looks questionable

It is a beautiful good sitting on the table. Easy to set time of day and times you want a light or appliance to start and stop. Problem is that the batteries (takes 2 button size which were priced at $6.99 each at Batteries Plus) seem to run out within
a year or so and the cost of a new unit vs. new batteries is pretty much the same!

This product serves the best purposefor me. It turns on the light and wakes me up in time for my job. I have used other appliance timers but they are not precise, as this one is. It has 2 settings so when I am not going to work....I can change the time easily. Really good product if you need precision timing. Thanks a bunch...Customer Review: Two fatal flaws...

This product was useless for me for two reasons:
1) It can't be used with any appliance that has a 3 prong plug.
2) You can only program two events per day. It says it is programmable by the minute, so I figured I could use it to kick off an appliance once per hour. It is not capable of doing that.

This works very well, and I needed something that would handle a new fluorescent bulb as the electronic timers do not work with these. This does, and does have the battery backup I wanted. Fits easliy on the nightstand near the bed, and most likely will order several more.
Shipping was super fast.
