I ordered five of these timers for work. We have large LCD wallboards that I wanted to increase life of. I purchased these inexpensive timers to turn them off at night and back on in the morning. They've kept accurate time and performed as expected (perhaps better than expected given the price).
Only word of caution - it's a two prong female outlet, so don't purchase for three prong cords.

Okay, so yes it turns the lamp on and off at set times...but then you are not supposed to use the lamp any other time??? I must admit I didn't read instructions...this info is per my husband... but sometimes I want to turn on the lamp other than the "set" times...he says it messes up the schedule.
Otherwise it works fine and is nice to come home to a lit home.

This timer is NOT grounded. I guess it's my fault for overlooking that in the picture/description. Saw this one, saw that it was highly rated and more expensive than the others, and ordered. My fault for being in a hurry, but in this day and age, why is a non-grounded timer more expensive than the grounded version?Customer Review: Junk

The dial never moved. The unit got so hot I could smell the plastic. Junk. I worte the company and after 6 emails I tossed the unit in the trash and wrote this review. For the same price I got 2 digital timers from a different company that work perfectly.
This is overpriced junk...and I cleaned that up.

looking for timer that could turn on my aircleaner more the once per day . and this timer takes care of that plus it lights up so you can see it in the dark . so i can set it to turn on and off at to diffrent times of the day keeps good time so far
