The solar panels capture light during any type of weather.
The light? Its not even enough to light up a little part of the outside of your house.
We currently are using ALL 3 lights to shine on the front door, since one light beaming on the front porch isn't even strong enough to see from your street.
Don't waste your money. Better off getting electric lights which will actually illuminate whatever is around them.

I purchased one set of these lights last year for new landscaping we installed. After 9 months, I have been so happy with them I recently ordered two more sets to continue with the lighting. I have other solar lights in my yard that I purchased at the same time and 4 of the 8 lights are already dead, but these Mailbu lights are just as bright as they were the day I bought them. With the additional lights, it looks even better.Customer Review: Good value for the money, long life so far

These are very good solar lights for the money. I purchased some 3 years ago and they are still working fine. They are a little dimmer over that time. Just be warned that they have a slightly blue color cast compared to non-solar lights.
I did replace the three 1500mah AA batteries with 2500mah AA when they were new for longer light.
I have recently bought 2 more for other parts of the yard.

I have two sets of these spotlights. The remote solar panel is a great idea. I have placed it in an area that gets sun most of the day. These lights are both clear and bright. I have one spotlight illuminating a US flag. The top of the flag is 7 feet above the spotlight and the spotlight has no problem reaching and lighting the flag. The others I use to illuminate bushes along my walkway and around my patio fence.Customer Review: Great lights, easy setup

This is a great, high quality product. I also have the solar tiki torches and feel that if the product has the Malibu brand name, you can't go wrong.
To be clear however, the term "Flood Light" is misleading.
These work best as accent lighting, to highlight things of interest in your garden or yard at night. A small group of 3 solar powered led bulbs are just not going to throw light like electric halogens.
