I ordered these for lighting my new Koi pond. It's a small pond, about 10 by 10 feet under a porch area about 5 feet above ground.
The kit included plenty of wire to run around and after a short one day charge the lights worked very well. I was worried they may be too bright but no they were perfect for this application.
I'd guess that they were similar to about 15 watt incandescent bulbs. They really show of the waterfall and don't draw attention to the light heads. The black color of the fixtures blends in well and with a bit of care in placing them they are hard to see. All around I think they are a good purchase for gentle lighting. I'm a happy customer.

Used this solar lights for more than a month now, and I can tell you that they are great! Even on cloudy days, the batteries still have a decent charge and the lights can run throughout the night.
Each light has 3 LED bulbs and can produce a bright white light. There is an on/off button at the solar charger which worried me at the beginning because I don't want to turn it on/off manually. It turns out that the light turn on and off by a sensor, great, but the manual never said that. So the only thing I would like to see is a better instruction manual. They come with three lights but I only used two since they are so bright.

I use this set in my bedroom to accent light a ficus tree in the evening. They are tucked into the base with the spike attachments and aimed directly up into the tree. It looks very nice, the light is typical bright white/blue LED.
The 'solar collector' unit is in the window, getting about 5 hours of direct morning sun, and daylight the rest of the day.
You will find that if you plug in 2 of the spotlights instead of 3, they will be brighter. I only use the 2 lights, and even with the limited sunlight they stay on a good 8 hours. The lights dim gradually as the power is exhausted.

I bought these here on Amazon and got them installed just about 2 hours before sunset.They were able to get charged up with minimal sunlight and I have to say they are working just great. No they don't act like a halogen flood light, but for a solar powered LED "green" light system these are really cool. I would not hesitate to buy another set of these if I need them. The kit has a 2 year warranty, they came with batteries, "rare anymore", and 2 types of mounts. Permanent screw in like the picture for like on decks, and push in stack mounts for the ground. We purchased these to highlight our front door. They are made of plastic, but are hidden under bushes about 3 feet away from the front door. They do a great job... working just as stated. Blue-ish light does keep bugs away and stays lit all night long...we have even noticed these lights still on at 6:00am when we get up. Also purchased a set of Malibu landscaping lights - solar and cordless..they pair nicely with this spotlight set. Now our entire fromt is lit up at night and its not costing anything to use. Love this item...Malibu seems to make a great product.. Highly recommend
