Tools and Hardware Reviews of Malibu 3 Pack Solar Landscape Plastic Flood Light Set with Remote Panel, Textured Black #LZ413Customer Review: Bright white light, soft glow (rather than a flood of light), easy to use Summary: 5 Stars
Got these as a goldbox special, and they've been working great (once they had a chance to charge and I turned on the "on" switch). I'm only using two of the three lights right now, to highlight some plants behind our garden bench. It's beautiful and peaceful at night. Not a "flood" of light, but more like a nice white glow. I saw the comment about the light not getting more than 3' off the ground, but I adjusted mine (just turn the little head) and it's easily shining onto my plants (about 4' off the ground) and the wall behind it (> 5' high).
Customer Review: Better Than Expected Summary: 5 Stars
This light set shines brighter than I expected. I have two sets that accent my arbor which sits at my gate to my yard. You can see the whole arbor lit up from down the street in total darkness. The lights are very versitile since you can either mount them or put them on stakes in the ground. They also swivel up and down and you can turn the light in any direction after it is mounted. Also, each light has 20ft. of wire so you can really space them far apart if you want.I am very pleased with them and have not found anything brighter for the price.
Customer Review: Great Value for the $ Summary: 4 Stars
I had low expectations for this type of lighting, but I was pleasently suprised after a couple of days of using them. The solar panel stores enough power with about 7 hours of sunlight to run the three lights for most of the night. They emit more than enough light to highlite just about anything you have in your yard. I used mine on a halloween display of pumkins and cornstalks. I don't think anyone will be dissapointed with these lights at Amazons very reasonable price. SAJ Northern New England.
Customer Review: lighted stairway Summary: 4 Stars
I mounted these 3 lights under the edge of a deck to illuminate the stairway down one side of it and along the walkway 9 feet down. They are not bright, but I can see where I am walking or shoveling snow at night. These are exactly what I expected. They work well even when the day has been overcast, and my panel, to be out of the way, is in direct sun only about 4 hours a day.
The wires are long enough to allow good spacing. I am trying to think of other places to use them!
Customer Review: Great solar lights. Adjustable and brite. Summary: 5 Stars
I had bought and used these solar lights before from Home Depot and Lowes for the frontyard and walk path/steps. I wanted to put more around the house in the back and sideyard. These were much cheaper than the stores mentioned above ($39-44). If the solar panel is placed in an area with maximum sun exposure the charge can keep the lights on throughout the night. The LED lights are very bright and are great for walkway paths and steps. I now own four sets of these babies.
