I purchased one twin pack of the Ionic Pro last year and another last month. We also have two Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Units that we purchased about 5 years ago. Yes, I know it seems like a lot of units for one house but we have a very large finished basement where we keep two units and I like to have one in each bedroom. I can tell you that the Ionic Pro is extememly comparable in quality to the Ionic Breeze units except for cleaning of the wires. On the Breezes you have to pick the unit up and turn it upside down repeatedly 9 times to move beads along the wires. The Pro has a built in wire cleaner so you just have to raise and lower a little stick. With a house full of allergy suffers these have brought much relief and even reduced sinus headaches I used to get often while sleeping. I would recommend to anyone.Customer Review: Great Product

I got these to replace my ~4 year old Ionic Breeze, which had died on me. I'm an allergy suffer and the Ionic Breeze was effective at keeping my allergies in check, so I figured I'd give one of the knock offs a try and save ~50%. After only a few hours use I got noticable allergy relief. The Ionic Breeze is a slightly nicer product, but at twice the cost. I opted for the deal Amazon offered: 1 Ionic Pro Turbo + a twin pack of the compact Ionic Pros.
I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about bright LED. Sure it's bright, but it's not keep you up at night bright. Maybe previous models had a brighter LED.
The compact Ionic Pro, delivers both clean air and a solid value. I no longer miss my Ionic Breeze (which was also a great product).

This gets an extra star just for visual appeal. Otherwise, completely useless - other than making noise!
I bought this because I live in an attic along a very busy street. I wanted to reduce the pollution in my room, in addition to all the dust that keeps accumulating!!!! I thought it was working because there would be buildup on the blades. However, there was absolutely no reduction in dust!! I actually think it created more.
It makes noise, which can be easily solved, but customer service is horrible. I cannot even return the item - it was too bulky to lug all the way to the post office, and now it's been over 30 days.
Do not buy this item. It will be a complete waste of your money. Invest in a HEPA filter instead.

When I first got these, I was very happy. Then, about 4 months later, they started crackling. Yes, I took the time to clean them, and in a day (or even an hour in some cases) they would start crackling again. No matter how clean you get them, they continue to make that sound of a bug zapper or something. It is very frustrating. I have deep cleaned as well with no results beyond a day or two. Beyond that, I do notice a cleaner smell in the air when I have them on (which is rarely these days due to the noise). Also, when I do clean them, I do notice a sticky, black film on the blades, so I guess it is cleaning something out of the air... if only they would shut up!!!! I would not buy them again if I knew how they would perform.Customer Review: Helps with pet odor

I ordered the pair of these a month ago and couldn't really tell a big difference when we had them on. They need to be cleaned ever 5 days or so. But, recently we've noticed when coming back from being away for several days that our house really doesn't smell like our dogs anymore. It's not a smell that we would typically notice until we were gone for a few days. Now, the smell is gone. As I said, they do need cleaning fairly often. However, it's really not very difficult to clean them. It takes about 1-2 minutes and requires a paper towel. Overall, when looking at the prices of these compared to others, these seem to be a great value. I would recommend them to others.
