We purchased the 2 pack for one of our stores in Mexico that suffers from bad
lightning. The Store's employees where nervous that they could not see any
one outside at night due to the poor street lighting. After installing these (one
outdoors and 1 indoors) our employees are happy. The chime is activated
outside when anyone approaches within 15 feet of the building and this lets
them know a customer is approaching or someone is wandering around the
building. The Indoor set was installed for the Alarm security. Both work fine
for the price of 12 bucks each. The Chime is annoying but we wanted that
to scare away potential graffiti pests the stores suffers from. Also, we like
the 6-volt adapter (NOT INCLUDED) option in case we did not use the batteries.
(we used lithium long-life). We do advise the devices should be placed up HIGH
so no one can reach it and damage or disarm it.
