pros:
sturdy
big enough to present a highly-visible profile to oncoming cars
stable -- weighted base prevents it from easily blowing over, and "+" shaped footprint stabilizes this triangle on both X and Y axes.

the bottom line:
it's a well made product and an absolute necessity for every car's emergency kit. don't risk your life by assuming drivers can see you when changing a flat tire on the side of the road. most pedestrians are nearly invisible to drivers after dark, and a 200 lb person is not winning an altercation with a 3000 lb car. these triangles give oncoming traffic the visibility necessary to keep you alive.
other thoughts:
some kind of active light -- such as a battery driven LED -- would be a nice addition to this product. it would make you visible to the odd driver whose headlights are malfunctioning. granted it's illegal (and just plain stupid) to drive without headlights after dark, but that doesn't stop people from trying it.
