Have used this jig for home audio subwoofers and speakers. The first time out you will want to practice on scrap. This is just to get the feel of it. Use a cheap speaker for measurements on both the cut out as well as the dado to flush mount.
You should invest in a drill press (plenty of $120 ones out there). This will make all the difference in a truly uniform edge as the pivot pin will be straight in and not at a slight angle that is inevitable with hand drilling. Remember even a small difference from the pivot pin being perpendicular to the piece you are routing will make a difference.
Love this jig. It didn't cost me $39, it made me $$.

Only has two screws to hold to the freud. I pulled off the baseplate and attached the jig. Held solid. I use it with a 1/4" up spiral bit.
I used it to put in floor recepticles in hardwood floors. Worked great, and the setup is very easy. I know it's plastic, and you probably need to accept that it's a semi consumable item, but so far it's holding up fine, and the holes are cleaner than a hole saw, and I would say, just as round if not better.
As with any jig, you do need to take a few passes through scrap to get the feel of it. The closer to perpendicular you can get the pin, the better, but it's not rocket science.

Not much more that I can add to the other reviews here! This is a great router attachment for routing out recessed areas and holes for speaker builds or anything else that you can think of. It is accurate and attaches easily to router models it is intended for! I also have the Jasper 400T Model 400 for smaller holes as well and it is just as accurate as its bigger cousin. If your routing holes under 2" the Model 400 is required as the 200 won't go down that far! Nice Products For Sure! Purchased from Amazon with two day delivery and nice packaging. I have always been skeptical buying products online. Afraid of fraud,delivery being late, or getting a product that didnt fit the description. Amazon changed my perspective of online purchases. The item came as described, and faster than initial delivery date. I was able to track down my purchases from city to city, state to state, which I thought was pretty cool. This online purchase is an experience that I will definately do again. As for the Jasper circle jig, "it works great". Amazon, TWO THUMBS UP in my book. This product works ok if you need a hole that is not too accurate. But if you need a 5" hole this thing may cut .03 under and there is no way to adjust it to make up for it. I needed to fit a steel plug into a hole and this tool cannot make a hole for it. I'll probably end up having to "egg shape" the mounting screw holes so I can fine tune my hole size. Also it would be very nice if the hole size markings were on both sides of the plate. As it is, the sizes are on the bottom making it difficult to see where to put the pin.
