The old hose on my shop vac was starting to kink due to several years of use. It was time to get a new one. I wanted a hose that was longer than the 6' hose I currently have because I like to hook it up to some of my power tools to suck the dust when in use. This 8' hose is perfect. The plastic material is strong but very flexible making it easy to use. The hose ends are re-enforced with a snap on mechanism so they don't fall off. Great product, great pcie.
