I shopped around a lot before settling on this unit as the most features for the price. It works VERY well, much better control than the cheap non-digital units. I use it with an in-wall fan-type heater. It works with any in-line heater,not just baseboard.
Pros
Easy to install and setup.
Plenty flexible enough (4 daily time settings & weekday vs. weekend.
Accurate: keeps temperature very well.
Cons
A very minor drawback is that it bottoms out at 45°. This is for a mud-room in the garage, which we would prefer to keep closer to 35-40° at night in the dead of winter.
There is no simple "off" button either, which would be useful.

- Easy to program with separate weekday/weekend schedules
- Adjustable temperature swing (temperature fluctuation between on/off cycles)

CONS:
- Aluminum wiring on the thermostat (google 'aluminum copper wiring')
I am very happy with this thermostat, a vast improvement over my old one. This unit is regulating two 220V Cadet wall heaters in my townhouse. I set the thermostat to only fluctuate 1 deg between on/off cycles for a very controled environment.

LUX Pro Programmable Heat Only Thermostat
Our previous thermostats could not be set precisely and it was only a guess where the temperature was set. Then the temperature dropped considerable before it would turn on, then go way above the temperature before turning back off.
The new thermostats were easy to install and the programming was a snap. Now we know exactly what the temperature is, what it is set to and we set the "swing" at 2 degrees. We eventually purchased seven thermostats. A backlit panel would have been nice, though.

I purchased this unit for a home office. We turn down our forced air heat during the daytime hours and installed baseboard heat in just this one room. I looked for programmable thermostats, but most were much more expensive than this. This has more set points than I needed, but it works great. We've already seen a savings on our electric after 3/4 of a month in use. It was very easy to install. Another reviewer says that this flashes between the time and the temperature - it does and I suppose if it was placed where it catches your eye, it would be annoying because it does it fairly rapidly. But for the price, this can't be beat.Customer Review: Works great

Installed the ELV1 thermostat and it works great. Easy to program and set. Calling for more heat is just a push of a button and it goes back to origional settings on the next cycle. Did the installation myself. I had some questions about the number of wires in the wall versus the two on the thermostat but an electrician friend and Bob's do-it-yourself on line page helped a lot. Basically if you have four wires you install this on one leg and wire the other together. Please see a good diagram to understand this. It is not difficult but a visual helps to understand. Good info on line if you search "wiring".
