Tools and Hardware Reviews of Jiffy Steamer 0601 ESTEAM Travel Steamer, BlackCustomer Review: Jiffy Steamer is Just Jiffy! Summary: 5 Stars
Over the past 25 years we have been looking for a portable, travel-sized steamer that lasts more than a year. We have found our answer with this product. While not as compact as some other models, we take it with us whenever we travel. The large resevoir lasts quite a while, certainly, long enough to steam multiple items before having to refill. It steams clothes nicely, heats up quickly and most importanntly, lasts for years. This is the ONLY portable steamer we could ever recommend anyone buying as we have tried many different brands over the years.Esteam Steamer
Customer Review: highly impressed Summary: 4 Stars
I am truly impressed with the product. It's the first steamer that I've ever bought, and it was absolutely worth it. It heats up in NO TIME, and it gets HOT! The only negative that I've seen is that there's no way to get the crisp look. It doesn't do collars well at all, nor anything else you want looking crisp. I tried doing one collared shirt and used up the whole water reserve and just ended up soaking the shirt...I should have just given it up and ironed it. Also, you can't really do the edges of clothes without something to hold it taught (besides your hands because your fingers will burn). Overall, great product.
Customer Review: Great little steamer Summary: 5 Stars
This steamer has no fancy settings and doesn't require an education in steaming to use it. We use ours so much that when I found my mom had an old ineffective steamer she received this as a gift from us. She can now steam quickly and completely without reading directions or fighting with the appliance. We also provided her with the Jiffy steaming mitt which makes steaming easier on the hands...steam is hot after all. We do one garment at a time for wearing immediately so the small water well is perfect and afterward it goes into a drawer....a plus for little storage space. We highly recommend this little steamer to all!
Customer Review: Jiffy Steamer worth it if you're willing to pay a little more Summary: 5 Stars
When I was in the market for a steamer, I found them ranging in price from $15 to $75 and decided to research the item a bit before purchasing. I bought the Jiffy Steamer based on positive reviews from several different websites and was not disappointed. This is a terrific steamer despite being somewhat expensive. If you're willing to pay the price, you do get you're monies worth. The water heated quickly, there is a large water reservoir, a long cord and the steam gets extremely hot. The only thing I was disappointed with was that it didn't come with a case or a draw-string sack to slip it into while traveling.
Customer Review: Jiffe Esteam Summary: 3 Stars
It took a little practice, but once you get the "hang" of it, it works. The Esteam works better than other hand held steamers. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones. They don't work.
The Esteam comes with a great instruction and parts manual too. I hate ironing but steam will never replace the iron in my estimation. Wrinkles disappear but clothes don't have that crisp, pressed look you can get with an iron. Having said that, this well-made tool gets rid of wrinkles most of the time and that's all I need. It especially works well on suits, sports jackets, etc. It knocks wrinkles out fast.
