The first Jiffy Steamer I bought worked perfectly. Used it for business trips and at home. We then bought another one for my son and it didn't work. We returned it and bought another one. It didn't work either. We called Jiffy to let them know they didn't work. They said it should have worked and wasn't refurbished. Not very satisfying to hear that.Customer Review: works like a charm

got it for my son for trips. he came back, said it didn't do the trick. I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and it worked great. His problem was (due to not reading the instructions) he held it away from the garment. You have to lightly touch the garment and move the steamer up and down. The pants I used it on were very very wrinkled, but came out looking perfect.Customer Review: Jiffy Steamer really works

I ordered the steamer after reading several other rave reviews. I was guardly optimistic. But once I tried it out I was completely pleased with the results. You need to hold it right up against the fabric (on a hanger) and move it in a downward motion from top to bottom. Jiffy really delivers. We use this product at least twice a day as my husband and I both work as managers in a grocery store. It is much faster that ironing. This is the 3rd steamer we have bought and seems to be the sturdiest. The only thing that would make it better is if it had attachments for lint removal. This is better than I expected. Heats up quickly and provides all the steam I need for touching up my suits. It also did a great job on my wife's cotton shirts. Unless I have a lot of laundry to do, I doubt I will be dragging my floor unit out of the closet very often. This is better for quick touch ups and perfect for travel.
