I never tried it, I was getting it as a replacement for a different travel steamer we had that broke - I saw a picture somewhere that showed someone using it horizontally and so I got it to use it on a regular ironing board, however, first thing it said in the manual was to ONLY use it vertically so I sent it right back.Customer Review: Excellent purchase

Very happy with the garment steamer - already saved so much money on clothes I would have sent to the cleaners. EXTREMELY quick, easy to use, and great portability. I haven't tried any other steamers, but I highly recommend this one. Not sure why I'd need to spend anymore money on a pricier, bulkier steamer.Customer Review: Not that pleased

I always ironed my pants and thought that after steaming them, they would look nicer. Steaming them with this product, did not get rid of the wrinkles in my pants. When I put my pants on after steaming them, the wrinkles were even worse than ironing them. It also took forever to seam a pair of pants.Customer Review: works as good as an expensive one I have used before

I am very proud of this purchase. Easy to hold and not very heavy. Also fits in a suitcase well. My son is in the Marines and will be using it for his dress uniforms. He has to be wrinkle free but travel tightly packed. I may have to buy another one as I am going to miss it at the house.Customer Review: Help
