Customer Review: Removes wrinkles but you will not get the ironed look

This J-4000 steamer does remove the wrinkles but you will never end up with the same look as ironed clothes. Its such a big hassle to hang the clothes and then steam, it sure does take getting used to. Also you will want to take the wait time into consideration to steam your clothes, you need to fill up the tank with water, pre-heat and only then will you get the steam after a few minutes. I believe it is not worth the effort for what you get! You will always need your iron even though you have this.Customer Review: Solid performer

The Jiffy J-4000 is a solid performer. It is well designed, solidly constructed and performs extremely well. Previously, I had purchased many hand held steamers, many which claimed to be "commercial grade" but they never performed. The J-4000 does what they say it can do. I highly recommend this product. This is the product we used at the majority of the large retail companies and I loved it then. When I saw this product for sale for my home I bought it because I knew the quality was commercial grade. The problem I have had in the past with other brands is the inflexibility and quality of the hose. With this steamer the hose is flexible, it doesn't leak and once its warmed up it is so much faster than ironing. It works great on curtains as well!! My 12 year old Jiffy Steamer died, after a repair 7years ago. I decided to get another Jiffy and upgrade. The steamer works fine. My issue is that it takes at least 20 to 30 minutes to heat up. Wanted to steam a Pashmina at the last minute wasn't an option. I purchased a Home Touch Perfect Touch for my cousin for Christmas, loved it heats in 45 seconds. Came home, purchased the Home Touch, emptied the Jiffy and stored in closet.Customer Review: WORTH THE MONEY!!! Easy to use and takes out all the wrinles

Great buy, easy to use and I can do 5 pieces in a few minutes. I haven't even had to put more water in the machine over the last 6 months and use it on occasion when we return from trips and need to steam out our clothes instead of sending to the cleaners. I probably could have been fine with the less expensive model since I don't use it very often but since it wasn't very expensive I figured I would buy the top of the line.
