Customer Review: Would be great if worked!

I needed a product such as this to attach to a hose at night to see where I was spraying. Most of the reviews were positive, so I didn't think the few negatives would be a problem. I ordered 2 of these, 1 for a friend. They were the "Deal of the Day". I opened one, tried it out and the battery cover did not fit securely 100% of the time so that contact was made to the batteries for the light to work. This was one of the negative comments posted. I tried the other one and same thing.
It's a shame it didn't work because it was just what I needed and it attached to the hose pretty well.

I got this for my husband's birthday and all the guys raved about it - so had to get them each one for Christmas, and yes, they were thrilled. This little light is one of the handiest I have used. The flexible tripod legs and magnet feet make it possible to place almost anywhere.
It is on the pricey side, but seems well made so far.
I think they are using Neodymium Iron Boron Magnets in the feet because they hold so well. Neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet.
This is a clear sign that they are trying to put together a premium product.
If the extra dollars over the cost of a more basic light doesn't trouble you, I recommend this item.

I bought this light to use outdoors. It has exceeded my expectations. I took it caving not too long ago just to test it out. My headlamp which is a pretty good one was really not enough. I wrapped the legs of the Gorillatorch around my backpack strap and all of the sudden had more light than I knew what to do with. It is super bright and pure light. I can't wait to use it for other things as well. If the battery life lives up to expectations, this could be the best light ever! If only the headlamp companies would start using Cree LEDs in their products...Customer Review: Great little light

I'm very impressed with this little light. The magnetic feet are very strong so it will stick to any metal object without the fear of coming loose, even upside down.
The variable brightness is nice since you don't always need full strenghth and the batteries will certainly last longer when used at the lower levels.
If you need a very bright flood light, this isn't what you are looking for. But, if you need a small light that will hang, stick or stand just about anywhere, this is a pretty bright light for is size and should serve you well.
