Bought this with high hopes and have not been disappointed.
Bright, flexible and the magnetic feet are brilliant.
Why not 5 stars? Non-adjustable beam is the only fly in the ointment and it
surely should not be a deal breaker for anybody considering this product.
I got mine delivered for less than $25.00 which is unreal once you see the quality.
Is an adjustable beam on top of its other great pluses a realistic expectation for that price? Probably not but its the only thing that I could think of that is missing.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. It is extremely bright, and the magnet is very strong. While it is brightest in the center, we find that there is still plenty of light around it, and the center beam is actually fairly large. We use it when we take late night walks since it is so much better than regular flashlights, and I think it will also be useful when he works on his car or is working in the basement for extra light as there is no problem getting it to stick to metal. Overall I was very pleased with this purchase.Customer Review: Clever little helper!

This little flashlight is the extra hand that I needed when working on my car. When trying to drill a small hole, the area that I was trying to drill was dark and I could not see what progress that I was making. Because of the strong magnets on the feet of this flashlight, I was able to see perfectly and do a very nice job with the drill. The feet were covered with soft plastic which protected the paint on the fender of the car. The light is adjustable yet bright enough to provide good viewing. Since my son loves his Gorillapod for stop-motion videos, I bought two of these tripod flashlights at Christmas time, one for each of my brothers.
They were a huge hit! Both my brothers kept messing with them and I've received reports about how handy the flashlights have been for various mechanical tasks that are far outside my realm of knowledge. If you're shopping for a guy or gal who is frequently involved in projects and who likes gadgets, this is a solid product that won't disappoint.

I really did not know what to expect when I bought 3 Joby Gorillatorch flashlights for Christmas - they were interesting stocking stuffers. But after we realized how useful they were, we were quite impressed!The men in your life will love this product. I even used one when I needed a light for my music during a Christmas play at church. The magnets stuck firmly to the music stand and the light could be adjusted as needed. Versatile, useful, batteries included, it was a smart buy in my opinion.
