Customer Review: great closet system

I bought a number of pieces of the John Louis home closet system and have a wonderful walk-in closet as a result. However I do need to comment that there is not much support for this product. I originally found the system on the Bed Bath and Beyond website and called them to ask some questions about adding drawers to the tower and they could not answer my questions but suggested I go to a store. The product is not carried in stores, only on-line, so the people there could not answer my questions either. I also called John Louis Home and was put on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. I ultimately bought it from Amazon and they could not answer my questions either but fortunately my assumptions were correct so the drawers fit perfectly. In addition, the instructions that come with the product are overwhelming and unless you are a construction/carpenter I think they might be difficult to read. I don't recommend doing this project yourself. My wonderful contractor was able to make it out after much scrutiny but things I thought came with the premier kit apparently did not (poles to hand clothes on) and we had to run out and get them at the last minute. This is because the descriptions outline all the materials in the package but it is so convoluted it is hard to read thoroughly. You also need to be able to "design" the closet yourself, which was the fun part for me but may not appeal to other people. So buy this kit with caution and be prepared for hard work. In the end I love my closet.
